Vista Verde Lodge - Lanquin

Great view from the property, very charming. Accommodation was nice and the staff were friendly and attentive.

The lack of electricity between 11pm and 6pm was inconvenient. Only one hot shower available, which had a long queue and was not clean.

The location of the lodge is stunning, with beautiful views and a great place to watch the sunrise. the pool is also a nice facility to enjoy during your stay. the staff at the lodge are welcoming and hospitable, offering a free pick-up service and providing a fantastic tour of Semuc Champey.

The wifi policy can be inconvenient, as it is only available during certain hours. It would be more convenient if the wifi was accessible at all times, especially in the evenings after a long day exploring the area.

The views from the pool were absolutely stunning - we couldn't get enough of them. the staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. the location was ideal, close to town but still secluded enough to feel like a romantic escape.

The cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired. We encountered several bugs and cockroaches during our stay, which made it difficult to relax.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Vista Verde Lodge. The location was great, with easy access to the town and shuttle transportation. We were impressed with how clean the place was, it was great. We highly recommend their Semuc Champey tour, it was the best tour we've done in our 6 months of traveling around Latin America. The breakfast was also good and reasonably priced.

All locally run with amazing food and the best tortillas in Central America. Beautiful views and good rooms. Only missing plug sockets.

During my recent stay, I was captivated by the fine river view at Vista Verde Lodge. It was amazing. The location of this lodge is unbeatable, surrounded by lush greenery and a peaceful atmosphere. The pool was a great addition, providing a refreshing dip after a long day of exploring. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this lodge for its amazing views and tranquil ambiance.

Nothing to dislike.

The amazing hostel in the hills of Lanquin offers good food, vegetarian options, and a beautiful infinity pool. The Mayan family running the hotel provides a friendly atmosphere, attention to detail, and organizes tours to the National Park.

We were blown away by the breathtaking views from the infinity pool at this fantastic hostel. the simple and wooden accommodation was perfect for our needs. the restaurant served amazing food, especially the tipico breakfast. the staff were incredibly kind and the tour of Semuc Champey they provided was top-notch. we loved the laid-back atmosphere and had an amazing experience.

Felt like absolute royalty here, with the staff going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

The views from Vista Verde Lodge were amazing. We seemed like we were in the middle of paradise surrounded by lush greenery and fine scenery. The swimming pool was also a great spot to relax and take in the beauty of the surroundings. The granola with fruit served at the lodge was amazing, a delicious treat to start the day with.

The lodge is conveniently located close to town and shuttle transportation, making it easy to explore the area. the lodge is very clean, and breakfast is reasonably priced and satisfying. Guests can enjoy the beautiful views, relax by the pool, and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.

The staff were nice. Great location to Semuc. Decent beds. Wifi was good in the common areas. the semuc tour from here was good. the grounds was lovely with great views all around. There's also a swimming pool but was too cold to be enjoyed. the hostel food prices aren't crazy bad. Social environment with everyone hanging in the common area to use electricity and wifi.

absolutely beautiful setting. tree hut living made very comfortable. great tour to semuc. hector and lisa are absolute characters. gorgeous pool surrounded by mountains. hot showers in the evening! exceeded expectations from previous stay in lanquin. vista verde lodge was amazing.

check-out process a bit complicated

vista verde lodge in lanquin exceeded my expectations. the comfortable and clean twin room, delicious and affordable food, and excellent wifi were all highlights. the friendly staff made for a sociable atmosphere, and the rooftop swimming pool with stunning views was the perfect place to relax.

Something was off with the cleanliness of the bathrooms.
